...It's ok for a person who has never played much double-bass. the metal will bend and break. I bought one and the hook that tightens against the foot to tighten the pedal to the drum, bent and thus broke. if you want a good pedal go for a pearl drum corp. or a high end pedal for playing fast....buy an axis drum pedal. they are expansive, starting out around $500 but the will last. the are made from machined aluminum. they will never break and are very very responsive. if you want a good name brand pedal...buy a DW. they are high-end also. But if you want a good long lasting pedal for the everyday musician. Buy a pearl.
