  1. Yeah, the links don't work.

I play in a heavy rock band & I use small diameter drums.  10", 12" rack toms & an independent standing 14" floor tom.  20" bass.  I love it!  The thing about smaller toms is that they articulate more.  They really punch through!

If these are new sets, then the cymbals will probably be low grade & dry.  If it were me, I wouldn't even consider the cymbals with the drum purchase.  Cymbals are too important to just take in a drum package.

I've been playing for a while & hundreds of shows.  I would still look on craigslist FIRST for a new kit.  Save some dough & get a high-quality kit that's been well taken care of.

For cymbals, definitely check craigslist.  You can get them for so cheap there.  Go to a music store & find out what you like.  Then just find it in your town through craigslist.  Believe me, I've tried to sell cymbals to the music store & they offer you next to nothing for them.  Most people try to make just a little more selling cymbals on craigslist....which is still a great deal for you.

  2. I'm sorry. I would help, but the links don't work.
