I think i got a good deal on this car but i want some of your opinions too. I'm 16 and for my first car I bought (with my own money...no mommy and daddy didnt buy my first car) a Black 2001 Honda Civic EX 2 door for exactly $6000 including tax. It has a slightly noticible dent on the side but its nothing that bad and doesnt affect how the car runs. Is this a good deal for a starting car?

  1. its a normal deal , you can buy a new civic for 16 000 so you got an 8 year old car and saved 10 000 bucks , its an ok deal if it runs for a couple years , dont drive it like an idiot though , when i i was your age i had to get a different car every year because i drove like a dumbazz teenager , im lucky im not dead

  2. IDK, but you can find out at; http://www.edmunds.com

  3. You haven't specified the Miles on the car nor options (Power door/windows etc.). Assuming they are somewhere around 90K range; rest of the car checks out OK, then I'd say that's a OK deal. Not a great deal but you could have done worse.

For someone who did it all on their own, I'll say Great Job!

If the miles are past 100K mark, then you probably overpaid. But don't feel bad just chalk it up to experience.
