Honestly- I don't think so. The idea of it is cut, but the zebra print is very loud for my taste, and the brown stripes clash with the black purse and leggings. Maybe you could wear it a little later in the year but for first day of school i don't think so. Instead, what i'd do is get the same type of top as the zebra on except in a bolder color like blue, red, yellow, purple, or green. hope this helps!

I LOVE kathy van zealand hangbags, I have 3 or 4 in that style alone. Anyways, I can see where you're going with it, but the bangles look cheap and so do the sunglasses. The rest is fine...but I will say that you probably won't get away with using your purse as a carry-all...you're going to need a book bag.  Try swapping out that style kathy for a larger kathy tote, they're just as cute and slightly more functional for this purpose, (school).

I think that's overdoing it. I love the jeans but you should be comfortable and remember that they crank up the air a lot on the first day. I would wear a cute top like a American Eagle sweatshirt or something simple. Don't bring the Kathy purse those things are expensive and you don't want someone to steal it. I worried about what i was gonna wear and then i got there and everyone was in normal clothes.

i dont like the top as much... imo its too loud

bangles dont match but they're still cute

and i think flats would look better with the outfit than the converses
