Is this a good fun daily driver?

i'm 17 years old and haev saved up soem money and want to a used car to drive to school for the next 4 or 5 years. i want to enjoy driving it so i'm looking for a manual. is a 1995 honda civic ex a good choice. if not or if you just have another fun vehicol option what is a good car to look for. innital cost , fun,reliability, gas efficency, etc.

  1. The old hondas are pretty good reliable cars. Especially with gas prices it's a good choice.

    Just please keep it fairly stock and don't make a fool of yourself by going all body kit, wing, and huge muffler. You will regret it in 5 years or so.


  2. Pretty much an all around solid car... good on gas, cheap to maintain and fix, they take a lot of abuse (i put them through a lot myself) cant really go wrong with one...

  3. You can't go wrong with a Civic.  The manual trans will make it more fun to drive and it should be economical and reliable.

    Be very careful when looking for any used car that is over 10 years old.  They can sometimes be worn out and no matter how reliable they used to be, if they were abused or modified it won't run well.

  4. Honda Civic is an excellent choice - reliable, cheap to operate, cheap to insure, good performance, lots of custom parts, handles good, great Honda quality, and high resale value. It doesn't get much better.
