Is this a good golf score for me?

I scored a 47...on 9 holes..par is 36, and im 13 years old, and have been playing for 1 year

That is an above average score. Just keep working on it and you should be down in no time. I mean one bad shot can cost you a few strokes. Make sure to concentrate on all your shots. You have a good base and should continue to get better. Also, try to get stronger, because every inch counts.

Pretty good for someone only playing for one year.

Sure it's good.  Just keep at it.  Work on your chipping and putting to eliminate those double and triple bogeys.  You will lower your score that way.

Yeah. I'm 16, and I was shooting around that when I was 13 (and I'd been playing for 7 years at that point).

I was 13 years old the first time I broke 50 and I was so happy I couldn't wait to tell everybody. That's a great score. I know how you feel.

hey i score around there too! sometimes even lower. but not on championship courses. youre course must be easy.

We don't know what is average for you, but at age 13, I would say that is ok!
