Is this a good guitar for a beginner?

okay so I'm planning on getting guitar lessons and i was wondering if this guitar is good for a beginner. please only comment if you are an experienced guitar player.

and if its not, what do you recommend?

This is exactly the acoustic I recommend to begining students.  It is a good value and well made.
