When it comes to audio, price does matter.

keep an eye out on slickdeals.net and dont cheap out..just find a good deal...around $400 min.

you want some speakers with a large enough cone to get the mid range out there and a good woofer to get the low end out.

The cheaper amps will break down....(Ive been there a few times)
