Is this a good idea for a sweet sixteen??

Question

My twin sister&I are turning 14 next month, but we've been thinking of ideas for our sweet 16, since it's 2 years away. We don't feel like having a huge party, since that's what everyone does. What we're thinking of doing is going on a cruise to the Cayman Islands, etc. with a bunch of our family [we might bring our best friend too]; we want to be on the cruise on our actual birthday, and on the formal night we'd celebrate.

What do you think?? Is this a good idea??

PS- The family we're planning on bringing is going to help chip in

i'm 15 and there's 8 months til my sweet 16. i'm planning to rent a cottage and stay there for 4 days (spring break) and have all my closest friends there. i'm thinking of something a bit wilder than sweet so ye i dunno if it wud actually happen or if my mom wud agree to it. coz i'm not planning on having any parents or gaurdians with us lol. aww*

that sounds like what i did 4  my 13 i brought my 4 bffs saw  grease in NYC and stayed for the weekend and went shopping and went to serindippity one night for desert
