well i want a thong or g string so tht i wont have panty lines cuz its annoying and i just want to try one out anyway to see if i like them.. but the thing is , is i already asked my mom and she changed subjects.. so idk how she feels about it.. so i was thinking .. maybe my brother could drop me off at kohls and i could by some.. but would that be to sneaky? any other ideas? thanks a bunch ! =]

It's only underwear. Unless a lot of people have been viewing your underwear lately, you're thirteen! they stay under your clothes who cares how much "shows" when no one sees it. If you don't wnat panty lines get one. Keep asking your mom and exoplain to her these points and she will most likely understand. If she keeps changing the subject, go ahead and get them yourself, and if she gets mad, she didn't have the cojones to say no to you anyway.

I think thongs are more comfortable especially if you play sports with them ,,

but G- Strings show less if you are wearing REALLY skinny things..

I went through the same thing. I did the same thing. I just always hid them... my mom never found out untill my pants fell down a little to low.

bad idea the next thing you know you will be wanting to wear a push up bra then a shorter skirt then a shirt that shows a lil belly...i say ur too young there are other underwear that dont show panty lines.

You're thirteen? Are you serious?!?! You don't need one.. There are these type of underwear that are made out of, like, nylon stuff that don't show.. but u might try wearing less tight pants and skirts!!

just go to the mall with your friends and use your own money to buy a thong. its not that hard and its not a big deal.

just tell your mom you need new underwear and then say you can buy them yourself go to the store and buy a thong but also buy regular underwear, if she questions you just say i needed them for a certain pair of shorts she most probably wont mind since you already have them

I'm a mom and although my girls don't wear thongs, all of thier friends do.  Tell your mom again that you would like to try thong underwear.  Tell her that you know she doesn't wear them, but that girls your age do and you want to give it a try and you will buy them yourself if she won't.  This way there is no sneaking and your feelings are out in the open.

thongs are sort of expensive and they are incredibly skimpy. Are you sure you really want to show that much? To tell you the truth, I think your mom was embarrassed by that question. It's kind of silly. Try buying underwear that is softer and maybe even more comfortable for you. I guess you could, but I don't think you should.
