me and my friend are always trying to compete on everything including girls and i thought since there always betting me money to get girls digits. I might as well tell them to give me fake numbers for show and give her half of my earnings

You can write down some random number without even asking for it or making a deal, just say "hi" and write down the random number and say "bye" and walk away. But I bet you wouldn't get away with it for long before your friends either stop believing you or call off the bet/deal whatever.

But hey! wouldn't it be really cool if you could just go up to a chick, get her number, call her and take her out on a date and maybe one day marry her? Yeah I think that would be cool. But phone number competition or bet or dare or deal whatever the heck it is, that's not cool.
