  1. no. it is not good. usually you would have one stud you build your team around but you dont seem to have one. relying on crayton as your number 2 receiver will not get you a lot of pts. and same goes for jones and portis and bush who were all disappointments last year.

when picking a wr, you want to pick a player on a team that passes a lot and KC and Pitt dont do that. daniels is not a good option either since schaub is a question mark and there is no guarantee he can be injury free. as important as it is to find a receiver who can catch, a competent QB has to be throwing them the ball.

  2. Honestly? You'll compete, but you won't win your league with this lineup. In any case, it is all relative. What you show here does not mean squat without us seeing what everyone else has.

  3. Overall it is a decent team for your first year, but you won't win any medals with it.  Like someone said earlier, who did you take in the second round?  You have Portis, a first rounder, but than it jumps to Bush, a third rounder.  You are solid at QB.  If I were you, I'd consider trading one of your QBs for a starting caliber RB or WR.  You can play the waivers for your back-up.  You're lacking a #1 receiver, but the fact you have three solid WRs makes up for that.  Definitly drop the Bucs and Miller for a WR and a RB.  Daniels is better than most people think he is, so he'll be fine with no back-up.  Here are some likely waiver players to target at WR (in order best to worst):  Robert Meachem, Brandon Stokley, Marty Booker, Darrell Jackson, Laurent Robinson, Bryant Johnson, and Jabar Gaffney.  They'll be available in most leagues.  At RB you'll have slimmer pickings.  Try: Kenny Watson, Chris Brown, Pierre Thomas, Ryan Torain, and Maurice Morris.  These are back-ups who are in position to take the starting job.  All starters are probably taken, so this is the best you'll get there.

  4. Why do people ask these questions but never give any details about the league they play in?  If this is from a ten team league, it's a terrible team that will be at the bottom of the league, while if it's in a 16 team league it's merely mediocre.

QB: good but not great.   Cutler is still questionable.

RB: Portis is great, but Jones will not score much for a crappy NYJ team.  All I'll say about Bush is: you have him on the bench in favor of...Thomas Jones.

WR: I can't figure out how it's possible that Holmes is your best WR and yet you only have one good RB and no good TEs.  Neither of these guys will produce significant points this year.

    DST: Good but not great.

Sorry but that's how I feel.  I would drop the TB DST and one of the TEs and try and find some depth at RB or WR.  Justin Fargus and especially Kenny Watson are available in a lot of leagues and they both could be starters this year.  There are a lot of rookies who might get significant playing time at RB but probably won't be drafted in most leagues, so watch the stats closely and jump on the free agent list for those breakout players.

  5. i would not have 2 defeneses or 2 te's. other than that, its pretty solid.

  6. sure.  I think so.

  7. decent..but i would try and trade reggie for a rb that will get more tds and is less likely to get hurt and a wr

  8. not bad might be little week in wr

  9. No you don't have a true number one at any position your team is littered with number 2's and platoon guys.

  10. Good, I think that Cutler may have a breakout year, so hes real good trade bait or a backup.

Portis is good, might have troubles with Jones and Bush, kinda risky runningbacks. Especially with Portis being injury prone.

I would definitly pick up another stud WR, or just a breakout candidate. Bowe is solid, and possibly Holmes, but Crayton is just a once and a while good gamer.

Might want to change D's after a couple weeks, cause Tampa Bay's gonna have an absolutely SHUT DOWN defense, but Ur right to have the Giants active, cause they might get more pics and fumbles. Check it out before season too.

GOOD TEAM set up, good luck and I hope this helps.

  11. WR - I like Bowe and had him last year but this year could be tough for him... he'll probably be covered like a number one in his second season.  The Pats let Stallworth go so Gafney could ge the #2 wideout with Welker in the slot.

RB - Jones did not do well with the Jets last year

Portis did alright but he's an injury waiting to happen

    Bush... not bad

QB - Hasselbeck... with the demise of Shaun Alexander the Seahawks will depend more on the passing game.  Jay Cutler could fufill expectations.

Tight ends and defense?  you can get away with one until bye week.

not too bad rookie... have fun making your own decisions and good luck.
