is this a good idea of fish in a 14 gallon aquarium

6 neon tetra

6 dwarf corys

and 4 zebra danios

Yes that's great combo of fish! but instead of dwarf corydoras get

3 Bronze corys and 3 albino corydoras, that would look better!

The general rule of thumb for stocking an aquarium is one inch of fish per gallon.  So, no.  I would recommend 8 neon tetras and 2 possibly three corys.  Hope this helped!

no the danios need to school in a group of 6

your tank will be overstocked

get rid of the danios or the neons

Quite a good setup. Could not actually think of a better one really. The whole system regarding temperment, eating and fish being nocturnal and being awake in the day all works. Remember to have a good filter and an airpump. Good luck with the tank!

yes very good just watch the neon tetra on the zebra danios you dont want any injuries !!

I think that would make a very nice group of fish.  Just be aware that you'll be pretty much maxed out with that many fish, so make sure you keep up on your water changes.  Adding live plants will help keep your water quality high enough to deal with that many fish as well.
