It makes sense. However, "Calm and relaxing" isn't a sentence since it does not have a subject nor verb. Perhaps merge both "sentences" by seperating both by a comma. Also, it would be beneficial if you added more depth like supporting details and vivid verbs if you would include this in an essay.

However, if you were solely aiming for a metaphor then it's fine.
