  1. Yes get a p45, But you cannot overclock so well, which is stupid to do with any PC you don't know what you're doing with, so don't really try.. lol, if you did overclocking you'd know what board to get anyway.

I have an MSI on my old rig, they're sturdy and last hella long.

    I'd get it.

  2. I dont know about your specific MSI board that you ask about. But I did have one in my computer. I had no problems at all and the price is very nice.

  3. Not a super fan of MSI.

They're OK, but basically an OEM manufacturer.

Had random drama with their boards. (In one case with RAM, in another with a Gigabyte vid card that worked everywhere else, and another with a TV card that worked everywhere else.)

But some of their board are perfect sized for super tight mod projects.

If it's not for that, I'd take it to a higher level.

  4. Try emaxx if you want a good low cost motherboard.

I personally don't know about MSI, never heard of them but Asrock and Foxconn definately blow and more ways than one.

  5. MSI used to have a bad name with system builders many years ago, mostly down to being the manufacturer of choice for budget OEM's such as eMachines, Medion etc

However, today MSI produce some seriously good motherboards which are stable at stock speeds but are not known for their fantastic overclocking capabilities.

The Zilent is an extravagent board, and comes with some nice extras.  Reviews I have found place it between 7 and 9 /10 which isn't bad.

I'd go for it, forget not trusting the brand, they no more untrustworthy than many other manufacturers, but if the brand does concern you then look to ASUS.

    Hope this helps?
