Is this a good output for a florescent light?

I originally bought 2 6,700K bulbs which were $25.00 each.

But I found this other bulb, 2 were $6.93 and they are 6,500K

The lumens are 3050 and the irc which I never heard of is 75

I'm growing plants with the lights, I have now 60 watts for my 29 gallon aquarium, yay!

But this will be ok yes?

For the price you bet I took those $25.00 apiece bulbs back. lol

I also am using CO2 injection and feeding with flourish twice a week.

What do you guys think?

Did I do good?

  1. Usually you get what you pay for. I am not completely sure which one would be better but every time I buy cheap bulbs I usually wish I had paid for the better ones.

60W on a 29g is nice for most plants. The 6,500K will work great too, I usually like to get 2 lights in different spectrums just to make sure everything in my tank is happy.
