  1. It all depends on how often you will be playing.  It also depends on your budget.  For $100 it’s a good package.

The marker is extremely reliable.  They almost never break.  With lots of use, you might have to replace a spring or two.  But usually all you have to do to them is add a drop of oil or two in between uses.

The marker is manual not electric.  The good thing beyond it’s reliability, is that it uses less paint.  However, it uses less paint because it fires slower then electric markers.

Also it has no eyes.  This means you will get much more chop (paintballs caught in the fire mech, breaking them in the marker).  When you have paint break in the marker you either have to stop and clean it out, or your shots will fly wild and not straight.

To prevent chop in a marker that does not have eyes, use an electric hopper / loader.  This way the speed that the paint is loaded into the marker will be faster then the marker can fire.  This prevents chop.  For a manual marker you do not need a high end loader most any electric hopper will work.

It’s a spyder.  They make extremely reliable markers.  The biggest drawback to them as a group is that they use a plastic feed neck to attach the hopper.  This plastic neck is very likely to break.  They run around $5 each.  If you have to replace it every other time you play, it gets expensive.

The mask is the cheapest you can get and you will likely be replacing it.

CO2 is fine to use in this marker.  Be sure you have a place to fill them.

Over all, this is a good starter set.  If you get into the sport, you will likely be replacing most of it quickly.

Up to a ceratin point, you get what you pay for in paintball gear, with exception of pro clothing and the highest end markers.

If you have a biger budget you might look at a higher end marker.  Also often buying the parts in packages like this usually gets you some lower end part to save the money.

    Hope this helps

  2. It's not good, but it's good enough for a beginner.

Positives- It's easy to clean, it's only $100.

Negatives- The mask sucks, it comes with C02 not HPA, it's a Spyder, it comes with a gravity hopper.

I think you should buy it just to get a feel for paintball. You will need a new gun soon though.
