I have just finished college and i have a plan of what i want to do, but what do you think:

YEAR 1 >Work for a year- save up money, get drivers licence, etc

YEAR 2 > Take a 10 month course in South Africa, where i will get lots of qualifications and work there

YEAR 3 > Do a 10 week course in fiji and get a BTEC advanced diploma

YEAR 3 and a bit > acess my options, with the possibillity of enrolling in the University of London External programme for a diploma for a year and then movin on to the degree course in that subject which will be 3 year course

(It can get confusing due to calender year and academic year)

My mum wants me to get on a degree course as soon as possible. Whilst i understand it would be good to get a degree asap, I cant do that this year but i can possibly do it next year, but i dont think my current diploma is any good and i wouldnt have ammassed the many exciting new qualifications that i listed above.

So what do you think??

  1. thats alot....seems like u want to travel not learn

  2. What exactly do you plan on studying??

Well i think that it sounds like you know what you want and you are willing to work hard to get it.

If you know that you have the grades and the money to do this then go for it!

    Good luck

  3. The problem with planning out your life in such a manner is that life tends to throw bumps in the road!  Take one day at a time!  Remember that stopping to smell the roses, spending time with people that are dear to you, laughing, and enjoying the little things in life are far more important than the successes associated with a graduate degree!  Life is too short!
