Is this a good pome about editing?

I tossed a pome into the air,

it clunked right back upon my chair,

I picked it up and turned it round,

it fell right back and hit the ground.

I knew that it was meant to be,

I took it everywhere with me,

I finally taught it to stand tall,

I put it in a book--that's all.

Yes it is. Sort of like the Billy Collins poem where he ties the poem to a chair and tries to whip the truth out of it--albeit a shorter take.
