Is this a good present for my boyfriend???

Question

We've been together for 5yrs and on my b-day he proposed to me! it was the most romantic thing ever :) now on july is his brithday and on septmber is our 6th anniversary. Im 21 and he's 22. I want to buy him 2-day tickets for disney world FL (we live in texas) he's never been to disney and im a disney fanatic its awesome! is it a good present? should i buy the air plane tickets now ? or wait until i give him the tickets and then we plan it??? what should i do? and i was thinking that maybe i could start sending him little hints a week before his b-day..like a mickey mouse card, a balloon..something like that..what do u ythink????? im SAVING A LOT FOR THIS!!! thanks

It is a wonderful gift... a holiday for you two as well to be together..  I don't think you should tell him what you are planning exactly to spoil the fun and give it all away in advance but you have to tell him that for what you give him as a gift he has to take time off work on those dates.. then I guess he will know it has to do something with a holiday.. but don't tell him where to and just get the tickets once you are certain he will get the time off work.. that is important for him to know to ask for that time off.. then I am sure he will love the idea to just go to the airport and get on a plane...and have a big surprise...I guess you can tell him on the morning before you are leaving for Disney world.. but for now... Mum's the word... it will be a much bigger surprise and will keep him guessing so ask him soon to let his boss know to take time off work on those days, which shouldn't be a big problem as it is still 2 months away from now..You should hint at the fact that you will be going on a trip but you shouldn't give it away... I think that is part of the excitement but let him know a couple of days before you are leaving what the destination is so that he knows what kind of clothes to take... and definitely ask him to take leave from work on those days you have planned...x*x that way it will be a bigger surprise...I am fully convinced you know him well enough and also convinced you can make the arrangements on your own.... and maybe when you get there you can decide on hiring a car and getting to some other places... that is something you can discuss just prior to leaving for Disney world Florida....x*x

I will break the mold and say no.

Ill start off saying I am a 22 yr old male and would rather go to another amusement park then disney. Its not  that its not a magical place, but its centered more for the younger kids.

I would recommend that you take him to cedar point. Its the rollercoaster capital of the world and will be more fun for a 22 year old male.

Save disney for if/when you have kids you will enjoy it more.

I think its a great idea! If you'll be getting married and he has never been then I think you should go at least once as a couple to enjoy the park together before you go with kids. Its a whole different experience when you go with the kids. Have a lovely time :))

im sure he would like it, i took my wife to fiesta texas for her bd and she loved it..but then we got ona ride and she was sick for the rest of the day so..haha

how bout u ask him where would he like to go...then take him there for like a weekend...if money isnt a issue..

I agree with the answerer above. Cedar Point is a thrillseeker's paradise. They have 17 coasters and it is right on Lake Erie so you get a spectacular view, plus it has been voted best amusement park in the world 10 years in a row. They also have a mile long beach you can walk on. It is an amazing, gorgeous place that will steal a piece of both of your hearts.
