i was thinking buying her a perfume and maybe some flowers and a card

i want something that will mean something.

Maybe you could back track and see if there is anything that your mom always talks about or such.

That sounds good. If you want to give her something meaningful, collect some baby pictures of you and if you have siblings of them too and put it in a little scrapbook and on the back write a handwritten letter telling her how much you appreciate her as a mother and as your friend and how much you love her.

that is a great gift, if she likes pampering you could get her a massage or pedicure too.  ther are massage schools that do a great job for less than 1/2 the price.  my mom and i go to one and love it! $15.00 for 1/2 hour!

That's so cute! Make the flowers her favorite colors and make sure they match her house. Maybe decorate a plastic vase or something for the flowers or if you're older and have kids then let your kids decorate it.

my mom and pretty much all moms love anything there child gets them. even if its something just made my hand. :P

if your mom has a garden or loves plants just go to the store and get her a pretty plant if not maybe she can just put it inside.

one year when i was younger i made my mom "coupons" that would say like "one free massage-by me" "dinner made by me" etc.

haha. it was pretty cool. :))

also these are just my ideas if you want more ideas you could always google up ideas. you may get a lot more.

Don't get her perfume unless you KNOW that she loves it and it smells great on her.

If you want something that will mean something, get her a big photo of her family and frame it. Gve her something to pamper her as a reward for pampering you - a gift certificate for a professional massage, or a mani/pedi, or a day trip to a nice spa, or a basket of top quality expensive body and face care lotions and potions. There is nothing my mum likes more than when I try to take good care of her.

My mum is quite partial to Jurliques range of products, especially their rose hand cream.

Don't forget to gve her a hug and a kiss and tell her that she is an inspiration to you and she means the world to you! This goes doubly for dads, too! Often they miss out on all the affection! Dads love a hug too.
