Well, the answer to that really depends on where you are located and how much research you have done.

I can tell you that that is a pretty good price in general especially if you live in or near a major acting hub such as NYC or LA.

But, I think that with a lot more research you can find a better deal.  I was able to get my first headshots for $150.00 which included a CD of all of the shots taken about 400 of them, basic retouching and a proofs.  I live very close to NYC and that was a great deal.

With a little more research, I was able to get my new head shots done for $60.00 in NYC.  The photographer was a very talented amateur photographer that I found through the website ModelMayhem.com  Of course I had to do my own retouching but it was worth it for the amount of money I spent.

Check out ModelMayhem.com, email a few of the photographers in your area and see what kind of prices you get.
