Ok I have a 2004 Honda CR-V that I want to tint and the place I am thinking of going to says that it is $85 for the front two windows or $250 for the whole car. Is this a good price?

  1. I just paid $150.00 this past spring for my 07 Eclipse.  The two sides at 5% over the legal limit and the darkest available on the rear which is legal.  Thats probably pretty close since the CR-V is larger than the Eclipse.

  2. i just paid 200 for all windows last week- with lifetime guarentee. There was an additional 30 dollars charge to remove the old tint that was on the two back windows.

  3. It sounds like too much money! What type of window Film would the Tint shop be using? I paid $175.00 for my entire car to be Tinted. My Tint guy used LLumar 5% Limo Tint with a Lifetime warranty. I drive a 2008 Honda Accord sedan.

  4. yes

  5. it's been a few yrs...(7) since I tinted my car (RSX-S) it was $150. (new) so that sounds about right.

  6. Sounds a little steep.

$20-30 for side windows and $50-75 for back windows is about the going rate.

For that kind of money, they should be removing your door panels and tinting well below the weather strip edge.  They should also be doing a multi-step cleaning process to insure a quality installation.
