Has the significance of these days been forgotten/ less emphasized by the youth and to what extent are these days significant to the youth and future generations?

It is on youth day and freedom day in South africa.

I would tend to put a more positive spin on it by emphasizing how the youth can and should relate to these national holidays as lessons to be learned and wisdom to be acquired.
