Is this a good representation of Serie A's sharp decline in quality?

Sulley Muntari, a player who failed to shine in an otherwise impressive Portsmouth team, is one of Serie A champions Inter Milan's main summer signings.

I'm a huge fan of Muntari, but I can say this with confidence...none of England or Spain's top clubs would find space for him in their squad. Yet Inter have signed him as a 'big player' after failing to attract Frank Lampard this summer.

Symbol of Serie A's declining quality?

  1. Obviously your definition of quality is skewed.  You think quality means 4 big teams and 16 other teams that have absolutely no chance.

  2. Symbol? You are deluded my friend.

Pirlo, labelled one of the best midfielders in Europe by MANY clubs (Real offered 50 Million for him), failed at Inter and made it in Milan.

Henry, failed at Juve yet made it in England. If we are so c**p, he would have fared better here. It does not mean EPL is worse, just a DIFFERENT style league.

Zola did better at Chelsea than he ever did in Parma in Italy.

Sheva, excellent scorer in CL and Serie A came from a top season in Milan to two c**p one's at Chelsea.

I could go on mate. Problem is you will never agree and nor will Serie A fans, so you might as well quit it.

The ONE Q everyone does agree on is the superiority of the Italian NT over the English. The fact u even THINK that is not the case already makes me prejudice your opinion in footballing matters

  3. Just admit it, you hate Serie A. Stop thinking of fake proofs and get real.

  4. no, because some players just don't fit in with Englands type of play or weather. Italy is actually hit it's low point, and the play is getting more exciting...etc
