Self-Motivated College Student Seeks Full-Time Position in Customer Service

I'm creating a resume on Career Builder and they require a resume title. I just started college for Medical Assisting and have 2 years till I graduate. Although I'm in school for the medical field, I would like to get a full-time job at Fifth Third or another bank while I'm school because right now I'm working third-shift at Wal-Mart and it sucks. Is this a good resume title for my situation or should I come up with something different since my studies in college have nothing to do with customer service?

  1. It was explained to me that employers SEARCH using this, so matching the type of position you are seeking would be best.  I'd suggest shortening it, perhaps "Self-motivated Customer Service Representative", assuming you have at least some experience that could be called that.

Good luck finding a better job.

  2. Your title doesn't necessarily need to state a position title, that way you are not limiting yourself!  For instance mine said "Results-Driven".  Simple and to the point!

So yours could be "Self-Motivated", "Self-Motivated - Customer Oriented (or Driven)" or "Self-Motivated College Student" if you feel the need of having the college part in it.

    Good Luck!
