  1. im sorry im not a mother but to be honest i think you could change up her schedule a little like take her to a play with other babies and stuff like thatt thats just my opinion but shes your baby

  2. i baby sit my cousins alot so routines are very key. your routine sounds great. seems like she gets a very healthy diet. but i would suggest is try taking her to a baby class. like some health clubs have baby gyms. often times the mom does the class with the baby. maybe take her to the zoo or set up play dates with other mom's you might know.

  3. Yep, but for stimulative devolpement, read to them at least once a day, it makes that prefrontal cortex of theirs more active, and they will learn easier.

  4. well I know this is always a sensitive subject but be careful with the breast feeding. I don't have any kids of my own but my step mom has 5 and she fed the last one until she was 2 years old! the child would actually walk up and ask for "numnums" now she is overweight and over spoiled and is a nuisance everyone in the house because of her constant need to be instantly gratified. I on the other hand was breast fed for a month but I am overly independent and too skinny. also maybe get her out with some other kids like a play date it would be fun for her and you could talk to other mothers in person about this :-)

  5. I'm sorry I don't know about the feeding part but your schedule sounds wonderful! Lots of mommy and me time in it. I might even copy it when I'm a mom.

Congratulations on your bundle of joy!

  6. The walker is a mistake, it will only hinder her development physically and cognitively.  It's the begining of the hand-holding that inhibits children's mental and physical growth.  It's good to fall over while learning how to walk.  Also, 10 months old is not too early to begin reading to her. Read her children's stories that have big print. Show her the book as you read it to her, and use some sort of pointer to keep your place, so she can see what words you are reading. it's also alright to read her novels that are intended for older readers, even adults. This will help lay the groundwork for future learning.  Trips to the park are nice, but there's no reason to restrict her to only being in pleasant environments. A trip to the park is nice, but a trip to the waste processing plant opens the mind. You have to be certain to keep challenging her. Simple demonstrations of physics, biology, and chemistry can be done a very limited budget, and are often obvious enough for a 10 month old to understand.  Let her see a soda bottle full of steam collapse when dipped in ice water. Let her see an egg become a tadpole become a frog. Show her how baking soda fizzes in vinegar but not in water.  If you keep her astonished now, she'll be curious for the rest of her life.
