Is this a good running time? easy 10 pts?

I really didn't know that in 6th grade you should be running 100 metres in 13 seconds. The fastest person in my grade in my school runs about 28 seconds in 100 metres. Running 100 metres in 13 seconds means that you are running 1 mile in 2 minutes 8 seconds!! So maybe that's not what I should be aiming for.

  1. Yeah, that's very good! Well, compared to me! I'm not all that sporty but I would say that is really good! If you want to be better, keep practicing!


  2. yep...they r average....just keep running and stretch all the time and set goals 4 urself...@ my school a good 400meter is like 1:08 or below...im in middle school...but just keep running!!

  3. yeah that's a good time but if you are looking to go faster, when you run, move your arms towards your body that will increase your speed

    13 seconds for 100metres....

    so you can improve....

    do a bleep test..

    if you don't know what one is look it up on google..will be good for your fitness

    also train at high altitutes and practise starting off the blocks...

  5. Really slow.  I run faster than your 400 time for 2 miles.  And I am not that great.

  6. i love running. i got 35 seconds for 100 metres but you at them times is just amazing. you could be in the olymics. keep practing and try and beet them times.

  7. Not all that great.  but the thing that i love about running is you get to see improvements if you just keep at it.  so keep running the same thing and your times will get better.

  8. i don't know much about the 40 or 50, but your 400 isn't very good.  you won't be going to the olympics with these times, as another person said.  sub 1:00 is good for a guy.  don't ask if they're good times and then get mad at people who respond honestly or know what they are talking about.

  9. most people should do the 100 in 11-12 seconds. A really fast runner would do it in llike 7, 8, or 9 seconds

  10. Run like a mile a day or walk like 3 miles a day
