Is this a good saddle?

Question

Is this a good barrel racing saddle. Also do you have any experience with this saddle or know any one who has used it?

i would go with the black one, because it looks like it would not be as heavy as the leather one

and looks more comfortable

Hey! So I have heard some pretty crummy things about these saddles...I've actually seen a few in person...the leather is Sh*t and they feel like cardboard...HORRID!! They are cheaply made and horrid...If you want a good saddle, go to www.westernshop.com....these guys know how to make a wonderful saddle!! I got mine from them...LOVE IT TO BITS!! Even tho it will never fall apart :) My coach said someone could run over it and it would  still prolly be together haha they are awesome tho...check it out!

they are both ok but if you want one to last a long time, get the one on the smithbrothers page.

The smithbrothers one would be better. When you want to barrel race you want leather, I don't think in alot of places you can actually race with a synthetic saddle. I do believe they have to be leather so you stick to them a bit better. You don't want to be sliding when you go around the barrels.
