Is this a good sewing mashing for a beginner starring sewing?

I'm 13 and I want to start sewing and making crafts and i'm low on money will this be a good starting mashing? My mom has one but is currently not working should I get this one?

  1. No, it really isn't. It has a tiny little motor that will burn out in one evening. It does not offer a choice of stitches.  I would suggest taking your mom's machine in for a repair, or get this machine from Wal Mart for $69.00 ~

  2. I agree with Kacky. Either get Mom's fixed or get the Brother from Walmart. I have a Brother I got from Walmart (one step higher than the one in the link) and I just finished using it to stitch the leather together to re-cover a motorcycle seat. I've had it for 5 years now and it's been a real good little thing.

    But stay away from Singer's. They aren't as good as they used to be.
