Is this a good sign that I got the job?

they gave me the whole medical and dental and benefit information before i left and said they would be making a decision by monday. Why would they do that if they were not interested?

  1. If I were you I would feel encouraged by the extra step they took to provide you with employee benefit information.  Generally when you are not being seriously considered for a position, they just thank you after the interview and send you on your way.

    I don't know if it's a "done deal", but good luck!!

    P.S.  Consider yourself lucky if you get a job that provides medical and dental.  Lots of other people would like to be in your shoes.   :)


  2. Depending on what kind of position you've applied for, this could be an excellent sign!  

    Now if you're going through a staffing agency, it's standard procedure that they give you the benefits package, along with tax info and the likes of that.  However, if you're going through a private company, they very well could be interested in hiring you for the position.
