  1. It's a great looking guitar, that's for sure, though I'm not sure how it plays. I would suggest a Fender acoustic. They cost about the same, if not less. I don't have anything against Alvarez, it's just that I've never played one, and since I actually own a Fender, I can advise you from my experience.

Take a look at this beauty:

  2. Nawwww. They're Rubbish. You Need What I Got, A Martin 000-12 Fret Madagascar Rosewood (Custom No 1122824). Got Mine With My 14th Birthday Money And I Haven't Put It Down Since. Here's The Link: http://www.mguitar.com/guitars/choosing/...

  3. It's a very good guitar for a beginner. You don't actually have to buy an expensive guitar when you start playing, an pretty simple nylon/steel string guitar will do, and if/when you decide you really like playing, you know what you want and can upgrade.

What you should look for is that the neck isn't too broad or too narrow for your left hand, and that the sound is full, with no weird vibrations or unwanted effects.

If you really like playing, you'll end up with 3 or more guitars after a while anyway.
