Is this a good story for my first book?

Well ,i'm planning to start writing a book , adventure/fantasy...

here's the story:

It's about a group of young people (18-20 y.) who accidentally discover an old witch book , they don't know that the book is actually cursed and indestructible.

By the effect of this book , their inhibitions are suddenly lowered , and they start to follow their deepest and impractical desires. Because of this , their long term friendship falls apart.

Just to one of them , who friendship is most essential part of his/her life , tries to stop them and to reunite all of them again.

What do you guys , think?

Interesting premise.  But just about any premise will work, if the story is well-executed.  Likewise, just about any premise will fail if the story is poorly-executed.

I would read it. But I would like it more if you added some more interesting and fresh ideas.

Something like....Err, I don't know....one of the girls in the book dies and that's when reality hits them. Ugh--that's horrible. Don't use that.

But think of fresh ideas. We all have read to many books with witches and vampires.

You should definitely write no matter what people say.

Write it as if you were writing only for yourself :)
