Question:

Is this a good strategy for my first ever xc race next tuesday!?

so what im planning to do is keep at a good speed but what i want to do is ill make goals like first ill keep my eye on the person in front of me and try to pass them. once i pass them i'll move on to the next person. and so on. is this a good idea?

  1. its a good idea but be carefull

    you will probably burn out very fast with this plan


  2. you are think all wrong u need to push urself until ur just starting to breathe a lil heavy and then whoever is in front of u run their pace unless u start to breathe lightly again then u ened to pass them :)

  3. it is, but make sure you can keep your pace, you don't want to burn out the second mile and have everyone pass you on the second mile. ask your coach wat your pace should be and stick to taht pace. also, be careful where you run, theres mud and potholes everywhere.  but yeah, thats a good strategy
