Im focusing mostly on shoulders, abs, biceps, and triceps. Everyday this summer ive been swimming laps in my pool. Monday,Wednesday, and friday are freestyle/butterfly. I swim like 20 laps (about half the width of an olympic or regular pool) and then 15 or so buttefly. then i rest. then i do freestlye and butterfly alternating going and coming back. On tuesday, thursday, and saturday i do breast stroke/backstroke. Pretty much same thing as above except probably more laps with breast stroke. is this good?any suggestions? I also work out every other day like lift dumbells, tricep extensions, pushups, and shoulder press.

  1. personally i would do IM because it works everything, first it goes butterfly there and back then backstroke back/forth, breaststroke back/forth, then freestyle and you start all over again

  2. Yeah thats a good work out, but if u are putting that much time away 4 swimming you should think about swimming year a round

  3. your routine is good but try doing all strokes in a day. doing the stroke while pulling only or kicking only will also help.

  4. sounds great ive been doing swimming to because ima swimmer kind of or trying to b but the butterfly will really help your arms and shoulders get toned it has helped mine!

  5. yup. no problem with your routine as long as your system can take it. you need to rest and have proper diet on plant food: veg and fruit...
