Is this a good trade? I give Santonio Holmes and Edgerrin James for Joseph Addai and Donald Driver?

Question

The guy I'm offering the trade to is a Steeler fanatic. He already has Rothlesberger, Ward, and Parker. I know Driver won't put up his usual numbers, but I want another RB to complement Portis and Barber. I have Chad Johnson, Lee Evans and Bobby Engram, I'm not too concerned about scoring big from the WR spot, I'll make up the points at all the other positions.

If he is crazy enough to take this deal I say go for it. Getting a monster back in return for a guy well past his prime in fantasy is awesome. Addai by himself is a huge upgrade over a Holmes/Edge combo. I agree you get very little out of Driver now but with the apparent shift back to a power running game for the Steelers (they didnt draft Mendenhall to watch and already have Parker to give them a great power/speed combo) I cant see Holmes getting much more production. So yea....this is a great trade for you, cross your fingers he is foolish enough to jump at this.

I agree w/ viphockey.  Do this trade in a heartbeat.  Holmes is a #2 WR and James is basically in his last year.  Addai is young, talented and on a great team.  Driver is also young and is equivalent to a #2 WR also.

Sounds like a decent trade. Addai will get his numbers and definately will be better than James. And Holmes is a good reciever it with the WR you have it wont be that much of a loss. But its your choice so choose wisely

It  prolly wont work because Joe Addai is do for a monster year and no one else in that trade is going to do outstanding. If they accept do it.

Driver may prove you wrong.

I look for Driver to have a big year, the Packers have all the ingredients.

You already know Addai will do well.

Seems a pretty even trade to me.

I can't believe the guy you are trading with would want so many players from the same team, but that's his mess.

well joseph addai sure as h**l is worth it but

edgerrin james is pretty good too but donald driver just picks up at  being a primary receiver with no TDs

hopefully with this new qb he'll get more TDs

so i think this trade is worth it

If the guy does it, he's on crack because your not giving that much up. James is going to have an ok season. And your getting Addai, who is like the 4th best RB.

Yeah you should make the trade. I think Aaron Rodgers wants to get off on the right foot with veteran WR Donald Drivers so he'll be his main man. Santonio Holmes is not going to get as many catches or yards simply because he is no the main wide out it Pittsburgh. And Joseph Addai I think is going to have a better season the Edgerrin James. Joseph Addai is still young and athletic. Edgerrin James I believe is washed up.

You need WR's bad. 85 won't do much, neither will Lee Evans, and Engram is splitting his catches. I say bad trade because you have to get some other WR's than that. Portis and Barber are good solid backs. Bad move
