Is this a good travel cage for my hammy?

I want to take my hammy like everywhere and I need to know which one to get please help!

I would say the second one for a number of reasons..

1. It has a water bottle

2.It has alot more room

Get the second one I work at a pet store and recommend it to people and they always buy it

The crittertrail one has more space but the Ovu one looks nicer.  You shouldn't take your hamster everywhere.  They only need to leave the house to go to the vet or to a pet-sitter.  They are nocturnal so should not be disturbed to be taken on trips in the day (except for unavoidable things like a trip to the vet).

The second cage is much better and more spacious.

However, as the above two contributors have mentioned, DO NOT take your hammie with your everywhere. They can get very stressed out and dehydrated. Hammies are not the type of pets you can take with you everywhere. They are pets with whom you can play with in the evening and watch them have fun in their wheels and hamster balls. Also hamsters are nocturnal and are more active only during the night. So taking them everywhere during daytime would make them sick very fast.

the school bus one. but also, bringing your hammy around like a dog will stress it! id ad vise only bringing him on short trips, like walking to the corner store =]

Get the second one.

It has a water bottle in. The first one is small and has no way for it to drink or burrow comfortabley.

But don't take him everywhere- that's cruel. Hamsters stress easily and are best left at home, and only taken out to go to the vet. They like to sleep, not constantly move; they can get wet tail from stress and you may be putting their health at risk from constant travel. It can be tempting to show your animals off, but bring your friends to your house, don't take him around with you.

Sorry, I work in a pet shop with the OVO, and I forgot the transport unit does come with a bottle. I'd still say the second one due to the amount of space.

But I rehash again, leave the hamster at /home/. It will get stressed and sick if you insist on taking it with you everywhere.
