Is this a good way for us to lower gas to $2.00 a gallon.?

What would happen if a lot of americans did this....?

drive only 2 days a week

ride their bike more to get where they're going

take more public transportation

would this help the gas prices go down to $2.00 a gallon. yea you would say it would go back up but the thing is that people should balance it so it can stay the same... what you think??

Sure it would help. You would have to keep doing it. Not just for a few weeks. Anything that reduced the  demand for oil would help. You could stop using anything that is made with oil.  Oil is used in making plastic. Soda bottles are made of plastic. I wonder how many plastic soda bottles we go through as a nation?

Sure, if everyone lived in a major metropolitan area and could do that.

China and India have more to do with gas prices than you realize.

"Big oil" does not control the price you pay, speculators do.

It's a matter of supply and demand, and not just within this country. Oil is a global commodity.

Educate yourself.
