Im just going to be using this for talking to my friends accross country OCCASIONALLY. And also can I record videos on it to upload to youtube? Does anybody HAVE this webcam?

i would not recommend it... it doesnt even show the brand, indicating it is probably some cheapo knock off.  ebay is usually the best buy, but in the case of a web cam, theyre on sale all the time and youd be much better off getting one in a store.  go to somewhere like circuit city or walmart and ask the employees there all your questions... they should be able to tell you what you need.
