Question:

Is this a healthy diet if i want to lose weight?

breakfast(9:00)-

a packet of oatmeal with a scoop of protein mix

OR

a packet of oatmeal with an apple

OR

a cup of cereal with milk

go to the gym

midmorning snack(12:30): a piece of toast with 2 pieces of oven roasted turkey with lettuce and tomato and an apple

mid afternoon snack(4): a piece of toast with 2 pieces of oven roasted turkey with lettuce and tomato

dinner(7:30): a tuna fish sandwich on rye bread with a tablespoon of mayo, lettuce and a little bit of onion

im trying to lose weight

im 135 lbs, 17 years old and i workout everyday doing cardio and weight training

is this a healthy diet?

  1. Yes that is a healthy diet, you might want to add more carrots, and soups to your diet and use whole wheat bread. Try some more veggies rather than eating same meal twice.

WOW sounds like your going fairly well soo far the only thing i would say is that you should eat 6 small meals everyday. and make sure that each meal contains protein. also drinking a lot of water is really good for loosing weight BUT NOT TOO MUCH!! did you know that drinking more than 7-8 litres of water a day is toxic. that is because our body has somthing like 7-8 liters of blood and drinking more water would obviously be bad!!

    also an average female should drink around 3-4 litres of water a day but for every hour of exercise you do you have to drink another litre.
