  1. didnt eduardo brake his whole leg and was out like 3 years??? well idk but d**n, hope he gets time

  2. Vela is going to be a future world class footballer

    just wait and see

  3. As the season goes on, watch and see how much playing time he will get. Vela has much more potential than Adebayor (more than just fast). They could also be on the field together you know.

  4. i am glad adebayor stayed,

vela is with his first year with arsenal, he dosnt know the offense or the players movments yet, also, arsen dosnt have enough time yet to see where vela would be at his full potential.

maybe next year adebayor or van persie will leave and vela will take over.

also, arsenal compete in differnt leagues and tournaments.

and adebayor and van persie do not and will not start in every arsenal game.

    FA Cup

    carling cup

    Premier League

    champions league

    ect. ect. ect.

thats why most big teams in europe have a bunch of good stikers for differnt cups.

so, no, it is not a blow for vela, he will get playing time but he will not play every game, that will just cause wear and tear on his young body,

this way carlos will be fresher when he plays for mexico also.

  5. Realistically, unless you were truly expecting Vela to be an automatic starter, this doesn't hurt Vela at all. Unless major injuries occurred to both Adebayor or Van Persie, he was always gonna be fourth choice this season. Adebayor and Van Persie are both proven commodities in the Premier League and Bendtner probably had an even better pre-season than Vela and already has major experience in the EPL.

I think as Mexicans we should be content THIS season with Vela getting minutes here and there and possibly playing major minutes in the Carling Cup, which is where Arsenal usually roll out their youth players to give them some experience.

Next year is a whole nother thing.

  6. Bad for vela

    Good the Gunners =]

  7. It's not looking good for him. They've got van Persie, Adebayor, Bendtner, and with Eduardo coming back by the end of this year Vela is going to have to step it up a notch for at least a sub spot. Nobody said it would be easy :\

  8. if adebayor leaves arsenal is screwed. vela would play but the team would need more experience in their front lines.

vela didn't come to arsenal to start. he came to help the team get the cup back and develop his skills under arsene wenger's leadership and wisdom. like some people said, don't worry about vela not starting every game. he's going to play the majority of the games. with his youth, many arsenal fans are raving about his potential. everybody knows he is deadly.

plus eduardo is comming back so it will be harder for vela to start, but granted he will play regardless.

  9. its only a matter of time my friend. only a matter of time.

Vela took on REAL MADRID whole defense once. imagine how much damage he can do in the EPL. with their crappy defenses??!?!?!?!?!?!

    Wowzers.

  10. Vela is still 19 years old and has a lot of potential to succeed in a big club like ARSENAL!

  11. all he has to do is take advantage of his playing time easier said then done but vela can do it

  12. VELA IS GONA BIULD UP TO GET BETTER

HE JUST NEED PLAYING TIME TO SHOW WHAT HE IS CAPABLE OF DOING!
