Question:

Is this a masterful plot by McCain to get the VP he wants? Palin a pawn to be sacrificed?

Scenario: McCain wants Joe L or Ridge. Is blocked by strong opposition of conservative right. Picks Palin. The Right falls all over themselves loving Palin; she's a pro-life Evangelical, supports Creationism. Then problem after problem appears. Then, tomorrow a bigger bombshell? She will be forced to withdraw, the Right will be embarrassed and in disarray. McCain quickly nominates the candidate of his choice, which the party must close ranks behind to minimize the damage. Impossible for the Right to wrangle over the VP now. McCain gets the guy he wanted.

Interesting? (OK, not very likely. But.....)

  1. Yes, not likely. Palin OWNS Biden.

  2. Very interesting scenario, but if Palin pulls out, she'll be replaced by either Kay Bailey-Hutchinson or Mitt Romney.

  3. You wish. She is in it to stay.

  4. A Harriet Miers type of situation did cross my mind. Maybe he'll pull the ole switcharoo with Palins.

Like, well I TRIED to give you guys a female president, but you didn't let me. Then he'll go get who he really wanted all along...

  5. lol...funny

  6. Palin is the gift that gives on giving for the Democrats.  He should keep her and let more scandals brew.  He should have picked someone who was well known, since all of the scandals would have been exposed, already.  McCain met with her once, before he picked her.  I guess she reminded him of a young Cindy McCain, or of his first wife, before she was in a car accident that left her disfigured.  McCain really loves his women.  He should be called McBond, McLuvin, or something else.  Although McCain will do since it reminds the women of his cane.

  7. Yeah, that's it.  In the democrats wildest fantasies.
