I have a fear of losing my friends. I am always afraid of making the mad or upset and them not wanting to be my friends again. Even if it is over little things. I have a pen-pal and he started to comment on some pictures of mind and it ended up starting a conversation. Anyway, I deleted most of the post and I told him. His reply was whatever and I don't care. I was so afraid he didn't want to be pen-pals anymore. And I kept saying sorry and I hope yer not mad. I was about to say if you don't want to be friends anymore......

Is this a mental disorder? If so, give me the name of it. plz

  1. I think you have a fear of rejection which comes from not seeing yourself as 'worthy'.  Not everyone is going to want to be your friend and that is ok...you can only control yourself.  As long as you treat others with kindness and respect you have done nothing wrong.  I only have one true friend in my life and I am 38 years old.  What I am trying to say is friends will come and go.  Just make sure you stay true to yourself; your values, goals and morals!

  2. I don't know if it is a mental disorder. However, there are people ( school counselors, doctors) that you can talk with to address these issues. Good luck.

  3. no not a disorder at all u just have a sweet heart... And your concious is always guilty..

  4. This is not a disorder just anxiety. You don't want to lose your friends because you most likely want to feel loved by people. It's normal for you to be afraid to lose your friends, just the normal human feeling of being wanted.

  5. No it sounds to me like your co-dependant, there is alot of good literature out there to read on it, it's kind of herd to explain, look it up on the internet I think you'll find it fits you and your situation...
