Is this a normal side effect of vitamins? this has never happened before?

i have been taking these daily vitamins called YourLife Daily Pak Maximum.

it has a 30 day supply of vitamins in a little silver foil pouch (30 pouches= 30 days aka 1 pouch a day) each pouch contains 1 vitamin E pill, 2 vitamin C pills, 1 multi vitamin, 1 siberian ginseng pill and 1 chromium picolinate pill

problem is i have been peeing nonstop and my pee is bright yellow... im talkin neon here...i kind of feel like i could dye Easter eggs in the toilet after i pee... is that normal?

im 23 and have tried several different vitamins and these are the first ones that dont make me sick to my stomach

Yes this is normal. It actually just means that your body is getting rid of what your not using. i take vitamins and I have bright yellow pee. It perfectly normal, do not worry. Good job for taking care of your body!

The reason you are peeing like that is because you are taking too much vitamin C (or B-that turns pee neon too) and it is being excreted in your urine.

Water soluble vitamins taken in megadoses are not beneficial, and can actually damage your kidneys. 120% of your daily need for Vitamin C, for example, is ridiculous. You can't absorb all that, and it gets peed out. Which makes the bowl look like Easter egg dye.

Vitamin B can do it too. Whenever I drink a sugar free Red Bull (my weakness) I always pee neon yellow. They put too much Vitamin B in there. They put 140%, 120%, and 360% of each of the B vitamins in there!! That is insane!

Anyway, read the label. If you can, try to spread out when you are taking your pills, so you aren't taking them all at once.

And vitamins make me sick as well, so I just take kid's vitamins. I take Flinstone vitamins or others. I just take one in the morning and one in the evening. And since those don't have any iron in them (because overdose of iron is fatal and little kids like to eat all their vitamins in one go when mom is not looking) I make sure I'm getting enough iron from food sources, or I occasionally take a supplement.
