Is this a possible way to donate?

okay Im to young to donate to non-profit organizations to help their cause, but I still want to make a change, I don't have a credit card obviously and you cant send cash in the mail. so can you send checks in the mail, cause I was going to get my parents to donate and I could pay them back. if that happens, do you think I could write a letter with the check saying I want to make a change but Im to young to send my own money myself and that I appreciate what their doing, do you think they will read the letter??

Is very good that you want to donate. But try to volunteer first then you can see the work yourself then donate. Is much better to see the work yourself, then you can feel the need of a certain community

It is nice that you want to help...but I hope you will realize that donating to charity is far less efficient than actually doing the work yourself. If you want to help out, try volunteering at an animal shelter, a homeless shelter, a soup kitchen, a hospital, an assisted living facility, etc. If you want to help people overseas, find out how you want to help, where you want to help, and then find a contact person. For example, many charities are giving vaccines for malaria or school materials. SInce you have no access to malaria vaccines, it would be best to donate money in this situation, but you do have access to tons of school materials, clothing, non-perishable foods, etc. So, you can send these items to a contact person in your country of choice. However, I would start locally. What is needed in your community? How can you help? Then just get started....not everything is solved with money and not all charities use your money wisely....when possible, it is always better to give yourself and your time. To answer your question, no, I do not believe a national charity will read your letter, nor respond to it....as they get many donations daily. However a local charity might bother to read it.
