Question:

Is this a problem? (toddler ate wrapper)?

My toddler just ate a reeces candy wrapper (the paper)! LOL Poor thing, I caught him stuffing it into his mouth along with the peanut butter cup and he wouldn't let me get it out of his mouth. Then I heard him swallow, and now it's gone...

So will he pass that just fine or should I be worried? I'm guessing since it's just paper that it'll be fine, but I'm not sure. Thanks!

  1. He should be ok.  Give him extra fruit to make sure it passes more easily with the rest of his stool.  One of mine swallowed a penny and lived to tell about it, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

If he ends up with a tummy ache or something, you can always call his pediatrician for some guidance.  Just hope you don't have to pick through poo to make sure it came out!  Good luck :)

  2. My middle son tries to eat everything too (last week he got a glue stick!), but as long as it's not poisonous, he'll be fine.  Call 1-800-222-1222 (poison control) if you ever have any doubts.
