Question:

Is this a problem with Yahoo?

While searching on yahoo I often get erroneous data before the page tags. Here is an example:

e4a8

<!doctype html public "-//W3C/DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">

<html>....... rest of the page .....

The 'e4a8' is not part of the page, but the browser tries to display it. IE shows the data but continues, Firefox simply displays the page source.

If I refresh it eventually goes away - after 15 minutes or so.

I only see this on Yahoo search results.pages. This seems to be a problem on the Yahoo server that sent the page. If so, who do I contact to take care of the problem?

  1. It may be  a problem on your end because I clicked on the link and got to the page fine for a search for &quot;bathroom cold vent&quot;
