Is this a pulley and is this a wheel or gear?

Is A a wheel or gear and if its a gear is it a bevel gear

and is B considered a pulley and if not what is it?

A is ultimately a gear.  The handle and wheel provide mechanical leverage for driving the small gear that's visible just above the large red gear.  

B is a s***w, and the k**b on top is turned to apply pressure to the rollers to squeeze whatever goes between the two rollers.
