In Harlem the largest population is African American. You can't go into a KFC, unless you speaks semi-ebonics. I'm not joking.

  1. Yes, it is a racist statement.

Who prevents you from going into the restaurant?  They have a guard who refuses entry to anyone who can't translate urban black dialect into the Queen's English?

I bet I could go in there and order a meal successfully, if of course I wasn't chicken.....

  2. Well lets see, you want racism

    Vote Obama/Biden 08'

  3. Biden Is a straight talker... not always a great thing for a politician to be. McCain sometimes has some of the same problems.

He obviously meant it to be a joke and I don't think it shows any particular type of prejudice. If it had come from a friend in private it might have been funny.

However it came from Joe Biden, and it does show a certain amount of racial insensitivity. So the other side will use it against him. That's American politics. It's NOT racism.

  4. Yeah, it's racist. But what do you expect from a campaign who espowses to the racist beliefs of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright! You don't sit in someone's church for 20 years and not believe in what your hearing. The American people are way to wise to be fooled by Obama. You can't fool America.....

  5. Uhh.. yeah, it is racist, but is it based in fact? You could word it in a more tactful manner.

  6. In this Political Correct environment, it is racist. However, in the real world, where most of us live, it is not racist. Pointing out a fact and how the situation is, is not racist. If that is the way it is, then that is the way it is, you aren't racist for pointing out the truth. It is just a bunch of PC garbage.

The thing where you may get caught up is by singling out Kentucky FRIED CHICKEN. Apparently, only black people like fried chicken and many people denote a joke or a statement about black people and fried chicken as derogatory or racist. I think it is neither, there is nothing wrong with fried chicken and one particular race liking the food. I think all races enjoy eating it. I don't think Biden's comments were racist or should be construed as such. If he was pointing out the way it is, then it is just that.

  7. I think its funny,  how is it racist if it has truth to it.  He didn't say anything derogatory about Indians.

  8. One is racist, one discriminates by national origin.  There's a difference, but not an important one.  Which category does calling people gooks fall under?

  9. I do believe he said that..Biden has a very short fuse and will be the downfall of Obama.  He thinks he is a demi god of Washington and trust me he is old hat.  He speaks w/o thinking and is a rude person and a racist.  Right now he is just not racist against Blacks.

  10. I guess it's semi-racist!

  11. Maybe not racist, but it's very wrong.
