  2. Uh, the pictures in the link you gave are clearly labeled, and yes, one is a rat snake. Rat snakes are harmless but can still bite and often shake their tail like a rattlesnake. You're better off letting the one you caught go and buying something a little better to have as a pet such as a corn snake.
